happy birthday ENDUP LEPCHA

His hardship has taught him great life-lesson that there is no short cuts to success and must strive to do the best. In academics, he has done exceptionally well so far. To his testimony he has academic excellence certificates awarded right from The Golden Throne. Even as a young boy, the leadership and social services has always intrigued him. He has always had this dream of pursuing higher education in law, social services, and leadership. Yes his dream was with him, a big thank to his country for the free education and His Majesty for the gift as Gyalpoi Tozey where he could see the light now. Thanks to his teachers for shaping him, insisting him to discover the undiscovered treasure of his life. A hearty thanks to his friends and their parents who always comfort him and keep motivating. And a special thanks goes to his grandfather and Len Tshering his younger brother. Thank you all... Throughout his school days he was associated heavily with social service clubs....

Think think and think

You know how you always turn down the volume on the radio or on your phone when you need to think clearly about something complicated or confusing? The same is true for your life in general. The noise you need to cut out to concentrate? That’s the noise in your head the busy, worried thoughts screaming over your better judgment. Turning down the radio refocuses your mind and offers you clarity when you need it most. You don’t really think about how or why this makes such a huge difference, you just know that it does. Now it’s time to apply this same strategy to all the other noise in your life, starting with the noise in your head. And although it’s not quite as easy as spinning the radio’s volume dial, the good news is you can quiet your mind and train it to think more rationally simply by reminding yourself to do so every day. Some people call them affirmations or convictions, some calls them mantras, but in any case these daily reminders keep you on track by keep...

Things you must leave behind to go ahead or to be successful

Like my friend Endup Lepcha from Bhutang always says,          I am not going to tell you the cooked story, I am not going to defame your opinion, I am not going to curb your thinking ,  But I am here with facts with evidences from my powerful tongue for all the powerful thinkers.   I had to leave my family in Zimbabwe in order for me to be a better person. I had to leave all the things behind. Even my community which made me the Petros i am today. I did this for me to be a better person. I know it's very hard to move a step further, that's why today i decided to touch on this issue. Things you must leave behind to go ahead or to be successful. You can never change things by holding on to the existing reality. To get ahead in life, you have to leave some things behind and build a new model for living that makes the existing model obsolete. If we want to be truly successful, ...

What is a true friend?

What is a true friend? A question that every human being has to ask in his/her life time.  Is it your partner in crime, or someone who tells you jokes and gossips,  or someone you can depend on. Let's start by looking at what other people say.   ''A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked''  "A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is''  '' A true friend is someone who is always there during the ups and downs''  ''A true friend is someone who never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down''.   ''A true friend is someone you can be with never say a word and walk away feeling it was the best conversation you ever had'...

things you think about way often

Hi , You do know you talk to yourself in your mind all the time, right? Pretty much every one of us has a non-stop stream of thoughts – a mental monologue – that has a powerful impact on how we feel, how we behave, and how we live our lives. Too often, this mental monologue consists of unhelpful thoughts that hinder our happiness and effectiveness. Which is why it’s time to stop thinking about… 1. What you fear. As Franklin D. Roosevelt so profoundly said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” That’s the honest truth. The real thing that keeps you down is fear. The reason your fears have so much power over you is simply because you give them this power by thinking about them – the worst-case scenario, what you don’t want to happen, etc. It’s time to take a stand. It’s time to clear your fears from your thoughts. It’s time to acknowledge that your fear of grief is far worse than the grief you fear. 2. Old mistakes. Why regret? This moment doesn’t ha...
